RUH’s Make a Will month is here again

It doesn’t seem possible that September is once again fast approaching, and with it another RUH Make a Will month. As last year, BLB Solicitors will be taking part, along with other local law firms. Readers of this blog will already know that the Bath office of BLB has chosen the Forever Friends Appeal as its first ever Charity of the Year, so this Make A Will scheme sits very nicely alongside our Charity of the Year initiative.

James Trescothick-Martin, an associate solicitor in our Private client department will be giving his time free of charge during September to draft new Wills or update existing ones, with all fees being donated to the RUH’s Forever Friends Appeal. The charge for a simple Will will be £100 and £150 for a Double or Mirror Will.  Last year BLB, together with the other participating solicitors raised an incredible £33,000 for the charity. We are all hoping to beat that target this year.

More details about the Make a Will scheme can be found here. If you wish to take advantage of the scheme, please contact James or his secretary Julie Scott, who will make you an appointment for a convenient date in September. James can also provide advice on Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Probate matters.
