Oliver qualified as a solicitor in Cornwall in 2009 before moving to Somerset in 2013. He joined BLB’s Property Litigation team in January 2024.

Commercial Work

Oliver has many years of experience working for commercial landlords and tenants, including dealing with applications under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, advising on break notices, breach of covenants, dilapidations, forfeiture, surrenders, and collecting rent arrears.

Private Work

Oliver also has considerable experience dealing with all types of private property matters, including:

  • access to neighbouring land;
  • adverse possession;
  • restrictive covenants;
  • party wall disputes;
  • boundary disputes;
  • rights to light;
  • rights of way;
  • residential possessions and trespass;
