On 10th July, several members of the BLB office in Bath took part in a rowathon to raise money for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) . The aim was to row a marathon – 26.2 miles or 42,195 meters – in 4 hours or under. We had 6 BLB rowers and a back-up team, including Holly (GWAAC’s Corporate Partnerships Coordinator) , who were kept busy cheering on the rowers and encouraging passers by to donate generously. We had a great spot in the centre of Bath, and although it was a hot and sticky day, we managed to complete the marathon in 3 and a half hours.
Thanks to all the BLB team for their marvellous support of this worthy charity. We are now eagerly waiting to find out how much we raised.
