BLB client Moira Young's first book, Blood Red Road, was published on the 2nd June 2011. The book, written for young adults, is set in a future dystopian world and follows a young girl's fight to find her twin brother who was taken away by mysterious, black robed riders. The book is the first instalment in a planned trilogy, and Moira is currently working on Book 2. Moira, who was born in Canada, is a former PA to the editor of the Bath Chronicle, and before that she worked as an actress and opera singer. Blood Red Road has been extremely well received, with Moira signing a pre-publication film deal with world famous director Ridley Scott's company, Scott Free UK.
